Data protection information on general functions and individual services on our websites
In the following, we explain the services through which personal data is processed on our websites.
Server log files
When you visit our website, our web server temporarily collects and stores transmission data in log files.
Anonymized data is stored in the web server log file, which provides information about the end device used, the browser used, the time of access, the so-called referrer and the amount of data transferred. It is not possible to establish a personal reference from this data. This data is deleted no later than 24 hours after the end of the usage process.
Some anonymized data is used for the purposes of troubleshooting and optimizing the pages and for counting visitors. Personal data is not processed.
Cookies
Cookies are text information that is stored in the end device via the browser. As a rule, this website does not use cookies. If cookies are used in exceptional cases, they may be session cookies that are required for the website to function. They would be used in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in a properly functioning website and would remain in place at most until the end of your browser session. A personal reference could not be established. Note: The use of cookies can generally be prevented by setting your browser to block cookies.
Your rights as a data subject of data processing
Rights of revocation and objection
Irrespective of the above statements, you can (in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 and Art. 21 GDPR) informally object to the use of your data at any time with effect for the future and informally revoke any consent given to the use of your data at any time with effect for the future.
If you revoke your consent to data processing or object to the use of the data, this does not affect the legality of the data processing up to the time of revocation.
Right to rectification, erasure, blocking and restriction
You can also have the data collected and stored by us corrected, blocked or deleted at any time (Art. 16, Art. 17 and Art. 18 GDPR). We expressly point out that there may be legal obligations to continue storing data, in which case the data can only be blocked.
Right to data portability and complaint to a supervisory authority
Since 25.05.2018, you also have the right to data portability in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
